Welcome,

For the past twenty four years I have run a private practice that offers therapeutic massage therapy with my focus being the treatment of overuse and sport injuries, muscular or postural disorders, chronic and stress-related conditions. As well as providing nutritional and lifestyle advice.

My interest in bodywork and the valuable role it plays in providing health and vitality to my patients has inspired me to improve my skills in the areas of myofascial release, neurofascial techniques and biodynamic therapies that look at the person as part of a system, that not only includes the physical body, but the mental and emotional aspects of a human being. This in turn creates and generates holistic healing within a person.

For 8 years I was a Practical and Theory of Massage Lecturer at the Institute for Natural Health and have continued in my role as an educator by offering CPD workshops to fellow therapists as a means to promote and advocate the use of therapeutic massage in health care.

I have facilitated various workshops including group and individual meditations, colour and sound therapy as well as wellness and anti-stress workshops. I have been privileged to be invited to share my knowledge on healthy lifestyle and complementary therapies with various interests groups from Rotary South Africa to Complementary Health Conferences and associations. This has been a wonderful indication of the interest that complementary health has gained in South Africa.

My practice is centrally located in the quiet suburb of Dawnview (Joburg East) on the border of Bedfordview and Edenvale. I strive to create a calm and peaceful environment that promotes health and well being so that patients can relax and take time out of their stressful lives while I focus on providing therapeutic massage tailored to their unique conditions.
